Recipes and Ingredient Costing
Cover defining recipes for menu items, variations, and modifier options: ingredient inventory items, quantities, units, and computed ingredient cost. Explain ingredients deduct on order. Permission: Show Recipe.
Purchase Orders and Suppliers
Document suppliers (name, contact, email, phone) and purchase orders: create draft, add items with qty and unit price, send to supplier, receive (partial/full), record payments (method/amount/date/reference), cancel, PDF download, status tracking, and the auto-PO option from low-stock. Permissions: Show Purchase Order, Show Supplier.
Batch Recipes and Batch Inventory
Cover batch recipes for pre-prepared products (inputs, yield unit, default batch size and expiry days, linked menu items/variations with serving size), producing batches (consume inputs, create batch stock, optional expiry), and tracking batch inventory (quantity remaining, cost per unit, expiry). Permissions: Show Batch Recipe / Batch Inventory.
Inventory Reports and Settings
Cover inventory reports (Usage actual vs expected, Turnover, Forecasting, COGS, P&L, Purchase Orders, plus batch reports) and Inventory Settings (low-stock notification emails up to 10 with test send, allow auto purchase order, unit-of-measure conversions). Permissions: Show Inventory Report, Update Inventory Settings.
