Menu items are the individual products you sell. Each item belongs to a category and can have modifiers (like “Extra Cheese”) attached to it.

Item Essentials

  • Name: What appears on the menu (e.g., “Cheeseburger”).
  • Menu: Which menu this item belongs to.
  • Category: Required for grouping (e.g., “Burgers”).
  • Price or Variations: Single price or multiple size/variation prices.
  • Availability: Show or hide item from ordering.

Open Menu Items

  1. Navigate to Menu > Menu Items.
  2. Click Add Item or Create.

Basic Information

Fill in the core details:Name: e.g., “Espresso”.Description: A short description for customers (e.g., “Rich and bold”).Price: The standard price (e.g., 12.00).Category: Select the appropriate category (e.g., “Hot Drinks”).

Menu and Item Options

Set operational fields:
  • Menu
  • Category
  • Type (Veg / Non-Veg / etc.)
  • Preparation Time
  • Availability
  • Kitchen Type (when Kitchen module is enabled)

Price, Variations, and Image

  • Set a single price, or enable Variations and add variation names/prices.
  • Upload an optional item image.
  • If item-level tax mode is enabled, choose applicable taxes.

Save & Activate

Ensure availability is enabled if you want it orderable, then click Save.
Configure add-ons from Modifiers, then apply them to relevant menu items.
