The lower half of the dashboard surfaces two types of intelligence: backward-looking revenue health signals (anomaly alerts and leakage metrics) and forward-looking live widgets that show what is happening in the restaurant right now. Together they let you spot problems and act on them without leaving the dashboard.
All insights on this page require the Show Reports permission. The live widgets on the right also require the Show Reservation and Manage Waiter Requests permissions respectively, and only appear if those modules are enabled for your account.

Revenue anomaly banner

The anomaly banner appears just above the main charts section. It compares yesterday’s total revenue to the average revenue for the same weekday over the previous four weeks — your seasonal baseline for that day of the week.
SeverityMeaning
Danger (red)Yesterday was more than 40 % below the baseline
Warning (amber)Yesterday was 10–40 % below the baseline
Success (green)Yesterday was more than 25 % above the baseline
Info (neutral)Yesterday was within normal range
The banner shows the exact percentage difference and notes how many weeks of data the baseline is drawn from (for example, “3-week Monday average” if last month has only three matching Mondays).
The anomaly check runs against the previous calendar day, not the currently selected period filter. It is a fixed daily health-check, not a sliding window report.

Revenue leakage report

The leakage report sits below the sales chart. It tallies the three ways revenue can leave an order — refunds, voids, and discounts — and surfaces the metrics you need to decide whether the amounts are acceptable.

What the report shows

Refunds
  • Total refunded amount (completed refunds only)
  • Number of refund transactions
  • Flag indicating whether a manager override was used to authorise any refund
Voids
  • Total value of voided items
  • Number of voided line items
  • Number of voids that required a manager override
Discounts
  • Total discount amount applied across orders
  • Number of orders that received a discount
Summary figures
  • Total leakage — the combined value of refunds, voids, and discounts
  • Override rate — the share of refund and void actions that required a manager override (helps you gauge how much manual authorisation is happening)
  • Discount rate — the percentage of orders that carried a discount
  • Top void reason — the single most common reason staff gave when voiding an item
A high override rate is not necessarily bad — it shows that sensitive actions are being properly supervised. A low override rate alongside a high void amount may indicate that the thresholds need tightening in your manager override settings.
The leakage report respects the period filter at the top of the dashboard, so you can compare leakage for today versus last 7 or 30 days.

Earnings breakdowns

Three cards below the leakage report break down the same period’s revenue from different angles.

By payment method

Shows each active payment method (cash, card, wallet, and so on) alongside the amount collected and its share of total revenue. Use this to reconcile end-of-day cash drawer expectations or to spot a payment channel that is unexpectedly over- or under-used.

By menu item

Ranks your top-selling items by revenue for the selected period, showing quantity sold alongside earnings. Useful for quickly confirming that promotions are driving the right items, or that a newly added dish is gaining traction.

By table

For dine-in operations, this card ranks each table by total earnings and cover count for the period. A table that consistently generates low revenue despite high covers may point to upselling or service opportunities. All three cards update automatically when you change the period filter or switch the branch scope.

Live widgets (right column)

The right-hand column of the dashboard shows three cards that reflect what is happening right now, independent of the period filter.

Today’s reservations

Lists all reservations booked for today, showing the guest count, arrival time, and assigned table (if one has been set). This card only appears if the reservations module is enabled and you have permission to view reservations.

Pending waiter requests

Shows open assistance calls from tables — the table name and the request message the guest or waiter submitted. Each entry has a Respond button so you can acknowledge or resolve the request directly from the dashboard without navigating away. This card only appears if the waiter requests module is enabled and you have the manage waiter requests permission.
Responding here marks the request as handled in the system. Make sure the physical follow-up has actually happened before closing the request.

Latest orders

Displays the 10 most recent orders placed today. Each row shows the order number, order type, item count, current status, the table or delivery reference, the assigned staff member, and the total. Clicking an order opens the order detail view.
