Kitchen workflow configuration is split across multiple pages in the current app.

Configuration

  • KOT Settings: Enable item-level status and choose default new-KOT status.
  • Printer Settings: Assign kitchens to printers for KOT output.
  • Menu Items: Set each item’s Kitchen Type when Kitchen module is enabled.

Setup

Set KOT Status Rules

Go to Settings > KOT Settings.Configure:
  • Enable Item Level Status
  • Default KOT Status (Pending or Cooking)

Assign Items to Kitchens

Go to Menu > Menu Items and create/edit an item.If Kitchen module is enabled, set Kitchen Type for that item, then save.

Assign Printers to Kitchens

Go to Settings > Printer Settings.Add or edit a printer, then assign the required kitchens in printer assignment.

Validate on KOT Board

Open All Kitchen KOT or Per Kitchen KOT, place a test order, and verify it appears in the expected kitchen.
In builds that include a dedicated Kitchen Settings page, use it to maintain kitchen-place records (name, description, active status, printer link).
