The Inventory Dashboard gives you a quick overview of stock levels, low-stock items, and key numbers. Use it to spot what needs restocking.

Overview

  • See how many items are in stock, low, or out of stock
  • Get a quick view of inventory health
  • Access links to stocks, movements, and reports

Prerequisites

  • The Inventory module must be enabled.
  • You need permission to view Inventory Stock.

Step-by-Step Actions

1. Open the Inventory Dashboard

  1. In the left sidebar, expand Inventory.
  2. Click Dashboard.
  3. The Inventory Dashboard opens with summary cards.

2. Understand the stats

  • Available items – Items above your threshold
  • Low stock – Items at or below threshold (need restocking)
  • Out of stock – Items with zero quantity
  • Total value – Worth of current stock (if calculated)

3. Take action from the dashboard

  1. Use the links or buttons to go to:
    • Inventory Stocks – Add or adjust stock
    • Inventory Movements – View or add movements
    • Purchase Orders – Create orders for low-stock items
