# Getting Started Overview

> How your oFatoura account is created, how to log in and verify your email, pick your branch, and finish the first-time setup checklist.

This section is for restaurant owners, managers, and staff getting into oFatoura for the first time. It walks you through how your account comes to life, how to sign in to the web dashboard in your browser, and how to complete the short setup checklist that gets your restaurant ready to take orders.

  Most restaurants are set up by the oFatoura team, not by self-signup. Your details are collected during onboarding, reviewed, and then your live account is provisioned for you. You'll receive your login link and staff credentials once that's done.

## The path from sign-up to first order

    The oFatoura sales team collects your restaurant details (identity, taxes, branch, hours, menus, staff, plan, and more) through an onboarding form. After review and approval, your live account is created and your credentials, login link, staff passwords, and table QR codes, are issued to you.

  <Step title="You log in and verify your email">
    Sign in to the web dashboard with your email and password. If email verification is required, confirm your email before you can continue.

  <Step title="You pick your branch (if you have more than one)">
    Staff assigned to multiple branches choose an active branch after login. If you're tied to a single branch, you go straight to the dashboard.

  <Step title="You complete the setup checklist">
    On your first admin login you'll see a guided checklist: add dining areas, add tables, add menus, and add menu items. Working through it gets your restaurant operational.
